Christmas on wings of a Pegasus

29 Dec

This Christmas,  I took part in an Origami gift exchange.

Basically you fold for a random stranger whose name and address is sent to you. It’s sorta like Secret Santa for folders across the globe.

So I picked a nice model from John Montroll’s book “Mythological Creatures and the Chinese Zodiac in Origami” (I love folding fantasy creatures), and took a piece of my home-made tissue foil and got down to it.

I was quite satisfied with the final product, especially after adding a few personal touches to make it more 3D.

Equally satisfying was knowing that my Pegasus reached its recipient on time! =D

Now.. where is mine?!?
